How to Join

To join as a journeyman carpenter

You must have a letter from a union contractor on their

company letterhead stating that they are hiring you

as a journeyman carpenter. The letter should include

your name, social security number, address, and

phone number.

The initiation fee for ex-members is $475.00 plus dues.

Fee must be paid with cash or money order. Please call

the office to find out the total.

To join as an apprentice carpenter

You must be referred to the school by one of the locals.

You need the letter from the local, a high school

diploma, an Illinois driver's license, and a social

security card.  

Currently the school is not accepting new

apprentices.
