Carpenters Union Local 13 represents over 2,000 men and women in the Chicago area. We are a local that consists of Commercial, Residential and Municipal Carpenters.
We represent High Rise Construction Carpenters and Concrete Form Carpenters, along with Interior Systems Carpenters, Door and Hardware & Trim Carpenters, Residential Carpenters and Municipal Carpenters.
We also represent carpenters at the State of Illinois, County of Cook, City of Chicago, Chicago Park District, Metropolitan Sanitary District, CTA and other municipalities along with Building Inspectors, both at the County of Cook and the City of Chicago
Highly Skilled and Expertly Trained
Our carpenters are highly skilled craftsmen with extensive training and education. We provide highly skilled journeymen and apprentices to signatory contractors throughout our Regional Council.
Our Local maintains a commitment to provide the best trained carpenters to fit the needs of the contractor by encouraging training and development though our Apprentice and Journeyman upgrading classes.
