The term “carpenter” is a blanket term for the numerous skills performed by the members of the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters. Throughout its history the union has developed many specialty trades. The Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters offers every member continuing and developmental training in all of these specialties. Many members are proficient in numerous trades.
